Software Tester

What can you expect from your job?

As a software tester, you’ll initially work from our office in Zoetermeer so that you can really get to know Computest and your colleagues. We’ll try to find you some cool clients that match what you are looking for. For example, we consider it very important that your assignments represent a proper challenge for you and that you don’t spend too much time commuting.

You’ll be responsible for the test activities conducted on behalf of your client and for making sure they are recorded and executed properly. As a specialist, you know all about test tooling like FitNesse, Selenium and Tosca. You’ll use them to create test scripts. When you run the tests, you’ll find out what works and what doesn't work so well and write it up in a report for your client. During your testing activities, you’ll be working closely with the product owner/business and developers. Naturally, as the test specialist, everyone will have questions for you.

Working and relaxing together

Of course, there’s more to life than work. We also think it's important that you feel at home at Computest and that you enjoy working with your colleagues. That's why we have various arcade machines for a spot of relaxation and there’s always a colleague who is up for a game of FIFA or table tennis. There is also a monthly get-together with your teammates over drinks and dinner so you can get to know each other better. And to get the new year off to a good start, we all go on a study trip to the snow every January!

What do we expect from you?

You have a degree in a technical subject from a university or university of applied sciences and experience of automated testing. You want to remain a true software testing specialist and so you are happy to be learning all the time.
You are based at the client’s location, where you are the expert and where changes are happening all the time. You have the knowhow and the nerve to act on those changes. At the client’s office it is also important that you are able to communicate effectively both with your immediate colleagues who come to work in trainers and with the suit-wearing CEO.
