Junior Security Specialist

Computest started out 17 years ago as a group of friends. And you can still feel that as soon as you step into our office. We're a bunch of super-social nerds. Many of us have a healthy obsession with tech, but of course that goes with the job. Informal, friendly and personal – that's the best way to describe Computest. Down to earth and straightforward. We are a techie crowd, but new colleagues quickly feel at home. (Especially if they are up for a drink and an occasional bit of banter.)
We're growing fast, so we’re now looking for even more techies. Does that sound good to you?

What you will be doing

  • Critically examining (web) applications and infrastructures: can anyone gain access to them?
  • Discovering vulnerabilities in (web) apps and infrastructures with automated tools or manually by means of pen testing and security assessments.
  • Analysing and presenting research findings.
  • Learning the ropes of ethical hacking through training, workshops, courses – you name it.

What you’ll get

Material rewards:

  • A nice salary
  • A permanent contract as soon as your probationary period ends
  • A good smartphone and laptop
  • A lease car or mobility budget

Training opportunities:

  • A personal training budget that you can spend entirely at your own discretion
  • Career guidance that will really help you
  • Special hacker meetings

A sociable workplace:

  • The most fun colleagues ever (even if we do say so ourselves)
  • Great parties, team outings, monthly get-togethers and study trips (with plenty of snow...)
  • Flexible (home) work-hours.

A good home base:

  • Flexible (home) working hours
  • A huge games room and office gym
  • A lavish lunch buffet

This is you

  • An inquisitive, sociable type
  • Someone who likes to talk
  • Obsessed with hacking and security

What you have

  • A university or university of applied sciences degree in a technical subject
  • Basic security knowledge: terms like cross-site request forgery are not new to you
  • Experience with programming
  • Knowledge of coding, commonly used design patterns and techniques in (web) applications
  • A certification like OSCP or the ability to obtain this quickly

Also good to know

We will request a certificate of good conduct and check your references. Because confidentiality is super important for this role.
