Who is this course for?
During the Test Automation in DevOps course, you learn how to apply test automation in the DevOps process. This course has been developed for developers who are working or want to work in an Agile manner and want to speed up their DevOps approach and begin the transition to CI/CD by means of test automation. The basic principle is that the participants already have prior knowledge of test automation. In addition, some basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD is an advantage.

During the course, you will take the first steps towards concrete and practical design of test automation in a DevOps team. The course will cover various types of test automation and how you can use them within build & release tooling and where possible in combination with various cloud solutions.
Programme
The course consists of a mix of theoretical and practical components. By means of an intake process, we first establish what the participant’s precise work situation is (including tooling, languages and team composition), so that the course ideally matches the participant’s situation. The exact content of the programme is therefore always dependent on the group, but the subjects that will be covered in any event are:
- Test automation in DevOps: how does this differ from test automation and what are the important points
- to take into account?
- Which test forms lend themselves to test automation in DevOps and which do not?
- Which testing tools and build-tooling can you use? How do you make an informed choice?
- How do you link test automation to the cloud (Azure/AWS)?
- Other tips and best practices relating to test automation in DevOps.
We generally deliver this course in-company so that it matches the tooling, languages and team composition of the participants as well as possible. We can provide a general version of this course on an open registration basis. In this case, it will be based on a .NET or Java environment with Azure or AWS and with C# or Java/Javascript as the development stack.

The course costs €5.900 (in-company) for a maximum of 10 participants per training.
We provide a pleasant and relaxed learning environment. The courses are held at the Computest office. We have a beautiful space available for this purpose with a roof terrace, and we also serve a delicious lunch. In-company training can also be delivered at the customer location.
